HOPE FOR THE FUTURE MINISTRIES PRAYER NEEDS
Hope for the Future Ministries is at the front line for spiritual combat. As work of the ministry changes people's lifes, by supplying their physical needs, and/or leading them into a relationship with Jesus, it is obvious that the devil will do anything to attack the ministry.
People who support the ministry are asked not to just donate money, but to donate part of their prayer time to support the ministry.
The main areas that the ministry requests prayer for are:
-
Protection from the lies that the enemy wants to spread about the ministry.
Rumours and reports surface much too often. These reports when examined by people that support or are considering supporting the ministry are shown to be untrue, but they still cause problems and have stopped people or churches supporting the ministry. -
Wisdom and unity for Pastor Diane Dunne and the board of directors.
When making decisions about the ministry, the enemy often works on the principle of divide and conquer, so often tries to create disagreement and tension within the board. Thanks to God that the board are wise mature christians, but it has been that some decisions have been more difficult than expected. -
God to supply trustworthy people to hep out at the ministry
Too often the people that have offered to help out in the office or in the warehouse have proved to be dishonest. The ministry needs people that can be trusted to support the ministry when Pastor Diane Dunne is out working with people who are in need. -
For people to continue to be saved through the ministry.
It is great that people are fed, but a person who is satisfied on earth, has a more important need, the need to know Jesus. The ministry sees it as a priority to lead as many people as possible to a decision to accept Jesus as their personal saviour. -
Financial support.
As mentioned on the Financial Help page, the ministry costs over $3000 per week to run, and in the current financial climate, this is becoming more difficult to raise, leading to the ministry to have to cut back in some areas.
