After the fire a better kitchen and warehouse

On Sunday 15th November the headquarters of Hope for the Future Ministries was destroyed by fire. This included the kitchen, the food storage warehouse and offices.

However with the help of the many volunteers and financial support from the public, the headquaters is rising from the ashes and continues to support those in need.

God obviously still has much work for Hope for the Future Ministries. The rented building has been rebuilt, with a new improved kitchen, a larger walk in refrigerator and redocorated offices.

Pastor Diane Dunne would like to thank all the volunteers who have helped out during the clean up and rebuilding.

The work did not always go smoothly but Pastor Diane always worked with a vision from God. Knowing that God had put the ministry on her heart and that He still wanted to reach those in need, nothing was going to stop the building. Nehemiah had problems when he rebuilt the wall at Jerusalem and he was able to say

When our enemies and the surrounding nations heard about it, they were frightened and humiliated, and they realized that the work had been done with the help of our God
Nehemiah 6:16

Pastor Diane is also able to say that even though enemies of the ministry wanted to destroy it by fire, they need to realize that the work has been done with the help of God.
