HOPE FOR THE FUTURE MINISTRIES FINANCIAL NEEDS

Running a ministry like Hope for the Future takes a lot of money. During a recession this gets worse, as more people are unemployed and need the food and support that is available, yet some of the people who usually support the ministry are losing their jobs, or overtime, with the result that less money is donated to the ministry.

Hope for the Future Ministries is looking to both churches and individuals for financial support.

Hope for the Future Ministries costs a lot to run. This may come as a surprise to people that think most of the food is donated to the ministry. However there is even a cost involved in collecting free food. The gas for the van has to be paid for and the van has to be serviced.

Other items that you may think of as low cost, start to add up when you do it on the scale of Hope for the Future Ministries.

How much does it cost to run the ministry for one week?
Please note that although the ministry gives out over 500 hot meals and 2000 pantry bags per week, these do not show here because the food is donated and costs are covered by the gas for the vans, and the gas and electricity for the warehouse & kitchen.
